About C.H.E.K

The Corrective High-performance Exercise Kinesiologist (C.H.E.K) Certification Program was developed by Paul Chek MSS, HHP, NMT and is founded upon fifteen years of Mr. Chek's clinical experience in the fields of orthopedic rehabilitation and strength coaching. His unique approach to rehabilitative exercise has served as the foundation upon which many elite professional teams and organizations build their performance programs.

The C.H.E.K Certification Program is designed to produce the finest and most highly trained exercise therapists and strength and conditioning specialists in the world. Unlike any other certification program for exercise professionals, the C.H.E.K Certification Program is completed in four blocks ranging from five to nine days of intensive modules, taught in a focused small-group setting, followed by three to four days of examinations at the completion of the program.

C.H.E.K & Keith

Keith has attained the highest level of qualification that a CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach can attain - level 3.

This took an intense period of training and hard personal journey through much self-introspection as well as personal and professional self-development.

Keith's feeling is that to be able to help others deal with the issues they face in their lives, it is important to have dealt with and faced his own personal and professional issues and to continually develop himself so that others may see that he practices what he preaches.

Keith is also trained as a CHEK Exercise Coach. Keith has found through self and professional experience that the CHEK system provides the most effective results for moving a person from pain to balance and then to their best performances on the physical plane. People without pain also make significant gains in performance and results since the objective of the stretching and training methods used is to facilitate maximum efficiency of movement for maximum performance and benefits.

The CHEK system of exercise and lifestyle & nutrition coaching thereby supports everyone in their movement towards the goals they have chosen to fulfill and achieve because it addresses people in regards to their own individual needs and requirements involving exercise, nutritional and personal self-development.

Beliefs

Keith believes that all exercise has its place at the right time for a person. And for exercise to be enjoyable it must serve a purpose to the person doing it. But the skeletal structure and it's muscles need to be operating at their most efficient levels for a person to achieve maximum gain from what they are trying to do.

This is why Keith believes that every individual has a different starting position when they begin an exercise program. He will design all programs aimed at the relevant point at which he has assessed a person to be ready and able. Most importantly, programs will be designed towards helping a person achieve their goals, increase their vitality and maximize their performance.
